GENUINE DUPONT "Line 1" Large PETROL LIGHTER Rose Gold Plated

 Classic pattern: Vertical lines. Rose Gold Plated.

 Petrol fluid is removed from the lighter before shipping because it is classified as a hazardous material by the courier services.

Some history:
 Simon Tissot - Dupont’s company founded in 1872 was making luxury leather goods. First petrol lighters were made in early 30s.
 In war times, when quality material was hard to achieve, Dupont lighters were made of aluminium, the company quickly returned to high quality materials after the war, great series of petrol lighters were made from that time untill mid 50s and there were Dupont petrol lighters produced even later.

• Total length: 58mm = 2.28 inches (approx.)
• Wide: 35mm = 1.38 inches (approx.)
• Width: 13.70mm = 0.54 inches (approx.)

 No box and no papers. There are NO initials engraved on the lighter.

 A small visible dent in one of the sides (look image with a red arrow).
Some part of the lighter had to be changed to make it work. Keep in mind that this lighter is at least 83 years old or maybe a bit older.

 The lid closes sharply.

 Lighter is pre-owned, in Very good conditions as you can see, minor marks on the surface according with it's age.

   Mexican authorities request a Security certificate issued   
 by Mexico and Fedex requests an external customs
 broker because they do not take care of this procedure.
 Turkey: do not allow entry of used lighters.
